Storm Damage

SERVPRO of Houston County understands that helping other is a necessity. When Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, we immediately sent a crew down to help. We combined efforts with other SERVPROs in the area in Georgia and in Texas. There was extensive damage in homes and in businesses. In the before picture, you can see the water standing still days after the hurricane tore through the town. We removed the flooring because it was severely damaged. After the floor was removed, we placed dehumidifiers to reduce the possibility of microbial growth. After a flood of this nature, the possibility of microbial growth is extremely high. Because of our equipment and cleaning supplies, mold was not able to grow in this place.
