Preventing Contamination

SERVPRO of Houston County placed a containment barrier in this home. We use a containment barrier when we need to separate two areas in the home- contaminated and uncontaminated areas. This allows for the contaminated air particles to stay in one area in the home! This home had a slight water damage that went unnoticed which resulted in microbial growth. Our technicians went to repair the damage and remove the mold. We did not want the mold spores to spread to the rest of the home so we placed a containment barrier. We remove the affected area and used SERVPRO cleaning supplies to kill the microbial growth.
