Storm Damage

Storm damage to homes is very common when a hurricane hits the area. Hurricane Matthew did severe damage to many homes we repaired close to the coast or on the coast. St. Simmons Island was one of the islands we responded to after Hurricane Matthew. The home you see in these pictures had standing water in the home even days after the storm had passed through. Water had seeped through the cracks around their fire place. We removed the damage area and began to place SERVPRO equipment in order to dry the saturated areas. Once this was complete, we removed the equipment and went to the next house in need.
